It has been announced today that Yana Peel, art patron and collector, cofounder of Outset Contemporary Art Fund and CEO of Intelligence Squared, will join the Serpentine Galleries as their new CEO where she will work alongside artistic director, Hans Ulrich Obrist. Peel replaces Julia Peyton-Jones whose departure as codirector was announced in October. Peel was on the board of trustees at the London institution.
The Serpentine also announced the appointment of two new trustees, artist Lynette Yiadom-Boakye and Mike Sherwood, vice-chairman at Goldman Sachs.
