Time to get a reservation fired off to your favourite chinz-laden Venetian bolthole. The Venice Biennale dates are 9 May to 22 November 2015, with previews for the 56th International Art Exhibition, curated by Okwui Enwezor, believed to be slated for 6 to 8 May. The Art Newspaper points out that the preview is earlier than usual and will now clash with Frieze New York’s usual slot in the summer calendar. A spokesperson for the fair told the newspaper that the dates hadn’t been confirmed – a tacit admittance that the commercial jamboree is unlikely to try to compete for audience with the curatorial one. Art Basel has moved its Hong Kong edition from May to 13–14 March.
