Krist Gruijthuijsen appointed new director of KW Institute for Contemporary Art

Krist Gruijthuijsen has been announced as the new director of Berlin’s KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Artnet reports. He will be replacing both Gabriele Horn, as the director and Ellen Blumenstein, as chief curator. Formerly the director of Grazer Kunstverein, Austria, Gruijthuijsen will take up his new position at KW on 1 July and begin to organise the institute’s programme of exhibitions after the 9th Berlin Biennale.
