Ingvild Goetz donates Munich museum to State of Bavaria

Collector Ingvild Goetz has announced that she will be donating her Herzog & de Meuron designed Munich museum, along with 375 works, to the State of Bavaria, Bloomberg reports. More than 4,000 other pieces from the Goetz Collection, which includes works by Richard Prince, Rachel Whiteread, Douglas Gordon, Isa Genzken and Andreas Gursky, and which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year, will be lent on permanent loan.
