The 2018 New Museum Triennial will be curated by Gary Carrion-Murayari and Alex Gartenfeld, the New York Times reports. Gary Carrion-Murayari, 34, has been a curator at the New Museum since 2010 and co-curated the Whitney Biennial that same year. Alex Gartenfeld, 28, was an editor at Art in America before becoming the founding deputy director and chief curator at the Institute for Contemporary Art in Miami.
