Design Miami director to step down

Director of Design Miami, Marianne Goebl, is to step down to pursue other interests. During her three years in the role Goebl spearheaded the fair’s expansion, including Design Miami/Basel’s integration into the new exhibition premises in Basel, and Design Miami’s relocation to Miami Beach. Goebl will continue her relationship with the fair as a member of the Design Miami board. The fair’s owners, MCH Group and Dacra, have tapped Rodman Primack to fill the role of Executive Director, effective 1 March. Primack is known through his work as chairman of Phillips de Pury & Company in London, a director of the Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles, the director of Auctions at online platform Paddle8, and through his consulting practice, RP Miller.
