Daniel Garza-Usabiaga has been appointed new artistic director of Zona Maco, the art fair in Mexico City. Garza-Usabiaga will be replacing Pablo del Val, who had led the fair since 2012 and is now moving to Art Dubai to serve as director of exhibitor relations. Previously curator at Museo de Arte Moderno, Mexico City, and at Museo Universitario del Chopo, Garza-Usabiaga also curated the fair’s modern art section in 2013. He is currently on the selection committee of Zona Maco Foto.
