The jury of the Roswitha Haftmann Foundation have awarded American artist Lawrence Weiner the 2015 Roswitha Hathmann prize, given to a living artist in recognition of a body of work of outstanding quality. Weiner, who receives CHF150,000 (£99,000) is the fifteenth artist to receive the award. Previous winners include Rosemarie Trockel (2014), Pierre Huyghe (2013), Cindy Sherman (2012) and Carl Andre (2011).
The ceremony will take place on 21 May 2015 in the Kunsthaus, Zürich.
