In the lead-up to the 31st Bienal de São Paulo, taking place in September 2014, this panel will look at the current state of contemporary art in Brazil at a crucial moment, when the market has become more internationalised than ever before. It will also look at the issue of local vs global in this context, and the current impact on artistic production in Brazil. The panel will be presented at ARCOmadrid.
