Vienna-based artist Michael Gumhold (for whom rock music is an important influence on his work) presented a new slide-show piece, along with copies of his latest booklet, as part of his ongoing [: Rehearsal : Rooms :] project. This sixth ArtReview Live bar night included a top ten heavy metal playlist, reflecting the best of early 1980s NWOBMH, compiled by ArtReview’s Helen Sumpter at Michael Gumhold’s request, with these new cocktails on the theme, created specially by Absolut.
