Organisers of Athens Biennale have announced new dates for the 7th edition of the exhibition. Now set to take place 24 September – 28 November 2021, the exhibition, titled Eclipse, will seek to ‘activate our imagination for tomorrow through a cross-cultural discourse on alternative ways of co-existing’. More than 80 artists from North and South America, the Caribbean, Africa and Europe will participate in examining ‘issues of identity, history and cultural complexity that constantly shapeshifts our experiences and perspectives’. The final artist list has yet to be confirmed.
